Müller Thurgau

Alto Adige DOC

Method

The vinification process starts with a brief maceration on the skins at low temperatures to optimize aroma compounds. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 57 - 58 °F.

Tasting Notes

This Müller Thurgau, with its intense and complex notes of stone fruits, citrus, and mountain flowers, leads to a dry palate with a solid backbone of acidity and a clean finish.

Food pairings

Wonderful on its own, Kettmeir’s Müller Thurgau pairs beautifully with spiced dishes like vegetable tagine or braised Moroccan chicken. The lively acidity goes well with fresh dishes like fava bean and pea shoot salad with poppy seed dressing or smoked trout with radishes and herbs. It’s also a great accompaniment to seafood risottos, grilled fish, and fried foods.
